Tetrapanax papyrifer
A dramatic architectural shrub with enormous palmate leaves up to 50cm across. Thrives in sheltered, moist spots with rich soil. Spreads aggressively by rhizomes — install root barriers or plant in a contained area. Top growth may die back in cold winters but resprouts reliably from the base. Produces creamy white flower panicles in autumn.

Care Requirements
Light
