Care Essentials

Feed every two weeks with a balanced liquid fertiliser from spring through summer. Reduce to monthly in autumn and stop in winter.

Care Requirements

Light

Bright indirect light

Provide bright indirect light for best growth. Tolerates some direct morning sun but avoid harsh afternoon sun which can scorch leaf tips. Low light slows growth.

Watering

Keep standing in water always

Stand the pot in a deep saucer of water at all times and never let it dry out. This is one of the few houseplants that is nearly impossible to overwater. Refresh the water weekly.

Fertilizing

Fortnightly in growing season

Feed every two weeks with a half-strength balanced liquid fertiliser from spring through summer. Reduce to monthly in autumn and stop entirely in winter.
