How to Grow Microgreens

Various species

Half Hardy Any Season Single Harvest

Microgreens are young seedlings harvested 7-14 days after sowing, packed with flavour and nutrients. Scatter seeds densely on moist compost in a shallow tray, mist daily, and place in bright indirect light at 15-24C. No feeding, no thinning, no fuss. Harvest with scissors when cotyledons open fully. Sow a fresh tray every week for non-stop supply. Perfect for windowsills, kitchens, and year-round indoor growing.

When to Start

Sow indoors 6 weeks before last frost, or direct sow outdoors after frost risk has passed and soil reaches 10°C.
